Jodie is a writer based in South Wales. She was one of the 2019/2020 BBC Writersroom Welsh Voices and is a Script Mentor and on the Board of Directors for It's My Shout. She is also one of the 2022 Edinburgh TV Festival's Ones to Watch.

She has various projects in development and is currently writing on Doctors and Casualty. She recently completed the Attagirl development lab with her feature script, 'Spring Tide', and was awarded a development prize grant. She is currently developing this script with director Amy Coop, producer Daniel J. Harris and executive producer, Michele Turnure-Salleo.

Her work has been performed on stage, screen and radio, and her short films have been shown at BIFA and BAFTA-qualifying festivals. She has extensive editorial experience and has worked as a storyliner, story editor and script editor for BBC Studios, including on BAFTA and Rose d'Or winning episodes. 

Jodie is drawn to narratives with an unlikely hero, particularly LGBTQ+, older, or female protagonists. Her work is often dark with a comedic edge and she enjoys finding the humour in classically serious subjects.
